High school student, Anais Mohr has some wonderful insights for those writing middle grade fiction. I think she’s hit it right on the mark. Nice post, Anais!

Best to you in the New Year!
Welcome and same to you Christine 👍😃
Very well written, Anaïs, my warmest congratulations! Now my kids are 14 and 17 yrs. old but they still like to discuss with me about the books they read or want to buy (ok, myself I a writer for young adults…) As matter of facts, I consider very important the choice of a book, for the growth of the young so that his vision of life leads him to achieve the right moral stability. A fair dose of fantasy, history, balance and fairness moral … should always be present.

I agree. I think Anais is going to be a good writer in her adult life!
Hey… do you think only adults can be good Writers… (just kidding) :-)claudine
What I meant was, she’s a good writer now, she’s going to be really good over time and with more experiences (which means she’ll be older, as in an adult). I wish I wrote as well as she does at her age 🙂
