Willie grew up on the South side of Chicago in a poor neighborhood. He is the oldest of three children. His mother was an addict, he barely knew his father. Willie graduated high school though he could barely read or write. After many years Willie ended up on the streets addicted to cocaine and alcohol living day to day, high to high. In 1998 chance brought him to Wisconsin where he has been in and out of jail, battling his addictions. Currently Willie is working for himself and sober. Living in the House of Drugs is his story.
